I also still cannot download anything from the news server (news.mweb.co.za) for quite a few months now... I just checked to see if it works on my telkom account and its works no problem. Only with MWEB can I not connect or download from the news servers or from fileservers

Please help

Thanks for your feedback guys; I hope that all the upgrades we process this week resolves your current lantecy issues.

Bar_Rat, I have re-authenticated your account; please reboot your router and PC for 30min and please provide me the relevant feedback. (interim measure)

Evening Hazard, are you not able to access the news server at all? Are you getting any specific error messages? Please also provide me your MWEB email address.
 
Hi there... yes, cannot connect to it... it says it cannot connect to news.mweb.co.za. Normally I get an unexpected error
 
I get a ping of 100 to a black ops server in jhb. I 'm in pta btw and use t get a ping of 25-32
 
It's disgusting that on a Friday night, one cannot play any clannies or anything else because of an ISP timing out every 3 minutes. Seriously, please fix the damn problem.
 
I gave up on black ops. Getting a 100ms ping and then the gaming manager tells me he can't see why i have the issue but still i have the issue. This is so BS please fix the f**king issue
 
WTH, I cannot even browse local sites, or game ! - using alternate account to post this.
Not worth the money Ive been shelving out for this service, im sorry to say.
 
Torrents reach about 20kbs at the moment. Guildwars downloader also only manages to get 30kbs.

Seriously? Once again we are stuck on dial up speeds! Why did I even bother with a 4mb line?

And as usual MWeb has NOTHING on their network status page to explain what's going on. And the call centre is closed because at 22:00 the world shuts down and only restarts again at 8am the next morning right?
