Very very bad Int latency, it shot up almost double to what it usually is. I'm getting tired of this happening at the same time of the day, especially Friday's. Local game servers are also yielding almost 300 ping

Good Afternoon Mephisto_Helix, I will log a maverick to ascertain whether your exchange is congested during this time. Please provide me pings and tracers to international sites reflecting the latency you are referring to and I will add it to the maverick I am logging with Telkom. I have also noticed that your signal level is really low, 6.5dB which could be impacting on your experience at the moment.

Kind Regards,
MWEB Guy

Any chance of local cache for the new BF3 when it's released? You're going to ahve a lot of peeps hitting the lines for the demo and the full release, would be great if Mweb and EA SA could have a file version that we can pull direct from.

Sigh ......... ok, here is the thing (again) in a nutshell: It is only on Mweb that it happens, I normally play DDO with a ping of 330 but now it is at around 600. I normally play CoD4 on Wage with a ping of 55, it is now 235. Yesterday, when I spoke to Telkom regarding my exchange being upgraded to 10mb, they informed me I have an excellent DB (in the 40's or some such). When I switch to my Imaginet account, like now, these issues go away completely. So please tell me how my exchange is overloaded / aliens are pooping on my router / whatever when it is only terribad on my Mweb.

P.S - it only happens for short stretches too, never for more than an hour. Otherwise, I have a very good experience with my Mweb. I just really really want to know why it borks out like this.

I'm trying to stream video from channel9.msdn.com and mweb keeps buffering.
And as usual I have no problems streaming if I dial afrihost.
Incredible frustrating.

Mweb 1mb uncapped. Usually around 100kbps.
Currently 10kbps.
Steam downloads.
Mweb Cape Town set as my preferred server in Steam client.

Is MWEB working at all at the moment? My router is doing really weird things but doesn't seem to want to stay connected. Though it keeps on resetting itself so maybe it is just a router problem? Hoping not... Would rather it be an MWEB problem that I don't have to sort out myself sigh...

Evening Skoenman, please advise if you are having a problem with speeds?

My internet speeds were AWESOME this weekend once again, thanks for the BRILLIANT service :D

Same here, good speeds all weekend and during the week,

Had one or speed issues yesterday evening, where my speeds drop for 5 minutes and then back to normal after that, properly just a glitch in the matrix...

Speeds fast again as normal
