yeah, filehost downloads from FS been fluctuating like crazy.

still above 200, but at times it would kind of stall and then it jumps back to life.

guessing it's global because my Afrihost was even worst, yet that was a capped package.
 
Does MWEB shape video streaming sites like Youtube? I have also noticed even low quality video buffers often while playing, this was not always the case. Browsing and HTTP downloading seem fine.

IIRC, YouTube is treated as normal HTTP traffic and is not shaped.
 
I'm not able to download the new OS software for the iPhone through iTunes- it starts but then always cuts out. Tried 5 times now. YouTube is very slow as well. HTTP downloads seem to be ok, browsing is ok but I get these frequent bouts of death before things come back to life. Something is not as it should be.
 
BTW guys, my MWEB is dead today (I'm on Axxess ATM)

Youtube is fine. All other video sites are slow compared to another ISP I've been testing. Sometimes multiple times slower.

Same DSL
Same exchange
Same router
Same computer
Same software
Same videos, on the same sites, switching back and forth (within minutes)
Different ISP

I have refreshed your MWEB account. Please switch off router for 20min+ and test thereafter.

My MWEB account is not working ATM. Nothing loads (I can't even get into this site - I'm on Axxess at the moment) I'll have to do the tests some other time.
What are ping and tracert tests? Could you please give me instructions on how to do this test? Thanks :)

I had a bit of downtime today. For some reason lost my connection to the exchange :P

Other than that, for the past 2-3 weeks the speed has been amazing! Yesterday, 400KB/s on torrents and still managed a decent ping online.

Am quite impressed at the moment.
 
Had same problem, sites not loading, extremely high ping, etc. All seems fine now though.

my ftp links kept on timing out yesterday but still downloaded finished non the less. Awesome service
 
I see my black ops is acting up again. But at least mw3 is coming and I hope I don't have to worry anymore.

I can't connect to the black ops master server. Just telling me fetching stats then something about no network connection

I thought it would smooth out over the day but still nothing everything is slow, here is a tracert right after a PC reboot and Router Reboot.
