MXQ Android box with DSTV

I have an A95X-R1 ...I removed the root and got the black screen. Also on Android6.01 . Any news or progress here you have to offer?
 
If you want me to install DSTV now app on your android box, drop me a line...

Sorry, I wasnt trying to be clever, its more aimed at people without any tecnical skills and who have bought an adroid box with the idea of installing the app on their box.
You of all people should know that the devils water aint that sweet.
 
Been a while since I played with these things. But I wonder if you root and edit the build.prop if that would not fool the dstv now app into thinking that you have a supported device.
 
The problem is 'root'. Somehow the app detects presence of root and it refuses to work.

I have an older version (1.40) working on my mxq pro +, this was after deleting the superuser command 'su'.
