Alright gents, clear your calendars!
Let's go ambling around on the 5th or 6th of March in search of breakfast. Who is in?

*Obviously this is for the CT folks, but anyone is welcome to join if they think they can get here in time :p

I'm in

Starting point and route ?

Starting point to depend on where we're headed. I'm really easy though
I reckon we've got 4 options
1) Cape Peninsula - around Kommetjie, maybe Chapmans first if people dont mind the toll (and I don't know how busy it gets), end up in Simons Town. Traffic leaving here always sucks though (narrow roads through Fish Hoek), unless we maybe go back over the M64
2) Through Gordons bay, riding next to the sea stop in Kleinmond, Bot River or Grabouw. Back over Sir Lowry's
3) Sir Lowry's, left to Theewaterskloof and on to stop in Franshoek
4) Through Worcester, over Bains Kloof, stop outside Rawsonville. Back over Du Toits Kloof

Suggestions also welcome. Last time we did 3, I'm feeling keen for 4. If there are any riders who feel intimidated by the routes, don't worry. I'm chilled, the fast guys can go ahead, we can dawdle through and enjoy the scenery at the back. Then we meet up again at some point after the twisties to continue :)

Guess who's bike is finally up and running again!!!!

now all I need is a service and new back indicators, before Monday when I start the job.

also lets organise a run for us Gauteng people?

I'd be open to a breakfast run.

A couple of those routes are quite a commitment though.

I'd like to suggest the following:

Meet in Table Mountain parking lot.
Over the neck and smash Victoria road through to Hout Bay.
Breakfast in Hout Bay (Dario's maybe?)
Hout Bay to Claremont through the forest (great road!)
Claremont to Cape Town, coffee and goodbyes at Arnold's.

Personally that would leave me with enough of a Saturday to still fulfil my family responsibilities. Maybe that's not a huge issue for others in this thread though.

Well, for god's sake Archer - The new Path of Exile league arrives on the 4th!

I'm in, if you guys can deal with a super noob. :D

Ah, wish I could get a bike again - miss my Monster

I see, so I'll need to make a plan when I get home. I'm just scared some idiot might want to remove it. I have one of that plastic twist off ones, so fairly easily to remove

Make a copy, don't use original.

More for the weather than theft, but works either way.

**** I'm away for that weekend.

Saturday is always better for me as the usual nutters are out on a Sunday.

I've looked into the ER6 but I don't see any being sold in CT. The bike also looks to big for me. I'm 5'6 - 5'7 so i'm quite short.

They both pretty much the same. The ninja will feel a bit different, but power and weight wise I assume they similar. Would be a great purchase either way
