I got the Nexx XR2 Carbon helmet - size L weighs 1250g. :)
I bought it online so never fitted it - but it fits well - maybe too tight.
I'll try to lose some fat off my head.

Overall this is my best helmet so far. It's light, the wide view is almost completely unobstructed, and it doesn't get yanked around in the wind.
It has some loud wind noise on occasion... perhaps that can be solved by filling the gaps left for speakers.

wow! beautiful helmet that!

It should feel too tight when new - it will now adjust to your head quickly
 
Physio today. I have lost all arm muscles and will need 2 years of physio. Also, Thursday is X-ray day and warning that was given was to prepare for a bone graft. Yay me

protip on pinlock... don't use soap and water if you have a pinlock fitted... the soapy water gets into the pinlock space... and that's a faakup...

also, know what you are doing when you are removing said pinlock to dry it out... because if you fak up one of the little plastic pins, it's 'n moerse effort to get a replacement, because NO ONE sells those little pieces of schit loose....

in other news, i'm still looking for 1 plastic lock of the pinlock, if anyone has a spare :whistle:

How on earth would one **** up the pin? I mean I've taken these out every time I clean my visor for years now across four helmets and that has never ever happened to me.

But yes ultimately use a microfiber cloth on the pinlock itself and even better if you do so on the visor too.

Even better is no cloth at all and using your fingers only with the soapy water then letting it dry naturally or with a hair dryer.

How? Don't ask. It happened. A short temper was involved. Something like road rage, but in the kitchen...





So how about that spare plastic??

What spare plastic? You mean the pin? Not sure if it's removable as in possible to re-assemble otherwise you would surely have put yours back in?

Not the factory fitted ones anyway. But Pinlock seems to sell them.

The trick is to stretch the visor open when pulling it out and removing it and same for putting it back in.

Talking about the little plastic pin. I didn't open it properly, it broke off, i hulk hands the table, it flew through the air, lost in the ether.
