I have contingencies yes, It really isnt as bad as I think youve understood it to be. As I said I have lived this way for many years. takes a bit of self discipline but it works for me. I have just found in past experience that these organisations work more against you than with you. I have worked in public services and government all over the place and so my decisions are not revolutionary based or some attempt at anarchy, I think I maybe just had a closer look at the corruption and deception thats fed to the working man daily. I cannot in good conscience support those institutions , aside from the obvious like medical where we literally have our balls in a vice.

Your medical aid also won't pay out if you have a bike related injury without a license.

If it costs them enough money to dig into it that is.

Neither will the RAF.

You are part and parcel of the problem...

Sorry you feel that way... what I do really wasnt the point of my post in the first place. It was to outline that there is little to no administration in this country. If you want to pay fees and support a corrupt government it is as much your choice as it is mine not to.

I didnt come to pass judgement on anyone elses statements while harldy knowing them. If thats what conforming to society is.

...Ide rather be part of the problem.

Rather stay off the roads please. No respect for the rule of law says a lot about you as a person, and hiding behind some sort of pseudo-libertarian outlook is just a front. You give bikers a bad name.

See my previous post. And have a good day :)

I pay taxes. I pay fuel tax. That last post saying I am part of the problem. Ide argue the other way.

Do all of you belitteling me pay e-tolls? do you all follow the speed limit 100% ?

If you can say you follow absolutely every law to the T then sure. get as worked up as you want over what I do.

If not stop making assumptions on others. If your rule is LAW and nothing but LAW. Then follow all of it. not just whats convenient.

You can't point fingers at corruption if you are part of the corruption yourself.

We didn't need to make any assumption because you stated it openly.

You are part of the problem. FACT.

It's not an assumption, it's not a guess, it's a completely valid statement based on evidence.

there are way around all of it. I dont perpetuate a lawless lifestyle at all. I do however refuse to operate in a system that is not setup with the needs of its people in mind. Insurance , banks, (I contract in and out of FSPs) all are setup to take as much as possible and give as littel as possible back. By accepting that very system youve already given up.

and PS , I have annuities and so on for my son, he dont need no life insurance. I will not put his future at risk by investing money and trust in a company that can fall over tommorro and all your saving is gone. same with insurance. I can cover my own mistakes, dont need to get ripped off monthly for "piece of mind" . Just my opinion, like it or dont... Doesnt really bother me.
annuities are sold by insurance companies though...

30,000km Service done at BMW with the cost totaling a whopping R1400. BMW takes care of its motorcyclists :D
Eish
My SLK needs a service.

At least it will be a minor. The last B service was 15k :(

The other sad truth is wether I am a responsible rider that watches traffic patterns and rides as safely and considerately as is possible like i try to do. Or wether I gun it full tap everyday , ride over pedestrians break off every car mirror I see and flash my nuts at old ladies at the stop light. There is little to nothing anyone here or otherwise can do about it. Taxi's for a great example. boy racers in GTI's . student in their moms figo. Does having a license that cost 400 bucks and an hour make the life they take for being a little tool worth more than the one somebody takes without a license?

I think far too many people are brainwashed by the rules they follow. And again. Not an attack on anyone, My opinion. I have a very good friend who is a commissioner of the court and we sit and back and forth these topics for hours at a time. This is not a "liberal" or childish, or selfish decision. I think most replies to my post are based purely on "Oh my god, he said he doesnt have a license" and not really what the point was at all.

So if everyone is so concerned for the law. If a taxi commits an infringement. stop , get out and pull him over and confront him about it. If what Im doing is such an issue then carry that forward into the road with you daily please. I would encourage it 100% . Its the kind of responsibility this country needs. If I saw that happening and people willing to get involved and actually risk their own neck for a change instead of typing about it on the internet. I would glady and with pleasure get a license and follow the law as we would all building toward something. But sadly everyone is numbe 1 first and only. never happen in SA.

I'll ignore the rest of the replies. really wasnt the point at all.

hope you all have a wonderful day :)

Are you 13? "I won't comply because everyone else must comply first, no fair wah wah"

By way of comparison, what would a 30k service cost at Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki etc? Does it depend on the bike? Does a 30k service on an adventure bike cost vary compared to a sport/super bike?

Not it has nothing to do with that and everything to do with the fact that I will have to pay for all your failures on many levels.

You crash with no insurance...I pay more for my insurance.

You crash into someone who claims from RAF? I pay more in taxes.

You die and your kid now needs to be funded and cared for by the state? I pay for that.

You die and other people need to clean up your mess.

haha. yes. I have them spread around a bit though and offshore although thats getting quite tough according to my broker. But yes, besides a scroge safe full of coins there isnt really a way to 100% cover yourself. The way I see it though is at least the money i put in goes to add to an amount. whereby insurance is a fee for incase. that money is gone if you dont claim.

Maybe Im stupid I dunno, but it is what it is. :)

:ROFL::ROFL: You guys.

Do you do it personally? Do you go literally clean up the mess? Because I have.

Take that energy to the community and start physically getting involved in cleaning up corruption. If 1 line on the internet can get you worked up I would imagine you could do a lot of good in person.

You realise the investment company can also fall flat on it's face just like the insurance company right?

I have cleaned up many a mess of people getting it wrong on the road yes.

And I've done a lot of community outreach stuff over the years as well, so yeah I'm pretty well sorted thank you very much.
