My Sena smh5 battery barely holds much of a charge anymore, anyone have ideas on where to find a replacement battery locally?

I used these guys about 18 months ago. https://bike2bike.co.za/products/sena-replacement-battery Sent my unit down to them, they replaced the battery and sent it back to me using Aramex. Apparently, they use a slightly higher capacity battery than the standard one. I'm very happy, it lasts much longer now than it did when brand new.

Is there anyone here that will admit to moering off a mirror? If so, what was the circumstances?
I've accidentally clipped a mirror with the hand guards on my bike, but never anything on purpose.

No. I give taxi's a wide berth and expect them to be stupid - I haven't been surprised thus far. :)

TBH though, I find taxi's to be some of the most courteous road users towards bikes.

i have generally found they often move actually, probably from having had their mirrors slapped so often.

Same thing only mirror I’ve ever moered was an accidental casualty on a new bike not compensating for it’s taller Mickey Mouse ears.

But we’ve had a few road warriors come through these parts with some anger issues...

I was lane splitting in bumper-to-bumper, stationary traffic (this is the only circumstance under which I ever lane split). A driver was apparently annoyed by this and turned the nose of his car inwards to try and block me. I was going really slowly and could even see him looking at me in his side mirror. I swerved but still hit his mirror. Due to my lack of speed it was less of a 'clip' and more of a long scratch across the side of his mirror.

I immediately stopped a car ahead of him and waited for him to advance to where I was. As soon as we were parallel I tried to speak to the guy to exchange details for what I assumed would be an insurance claim on his part. He flat-out ignored me. He just stared off into the distance waiting for the cars to in front of him to slowly move forward. It must have been really awkward for him trying to pretend that he didn't pull a really dumb and dangerous move. I eventually drove off with nothing more than some of his shiny paint on the side of my handlebar.

EDIT: agree on the taxi comment. I've rarely had any issues with taxi drivers. They've even started conversations with me at red lights.

Yes. People texting and driving. No intentions to damage the mirrors, just enough to give them a fright. Smacked a taxi mirror on Grayston so hard that it broke (had to clean glass off my seat when I got home) - wasn't splitting. He moved 3 lanes from the right to the M1 on ramp, almost taking me out and then tried to gap back into traffic at the robot

I have a rather old Arai RX7 hamlet. I really want to redo the inners as they are somewhat worn. The helmet has never been dropped so the structure should still be perfect. Anyone have any ideas on where I can take it to be reupholstered?

Think MacDonalds does quite good upholstery, at least that's what their buns felt like the other day.

nah he means intentionally, i have intentionally seen people block me off on many occassions.

For guys talking on their phone i like to stop next to them and check out my bikes rev range, the loud exhaust helps here.
