Are you in the club?
Not technically
Are you in the club?
Burnouts and hooliganism mist likely3000km only with a GROM?
How the duck.
Even with a Busa I wonder how people manage that.
SchweetThey are 100 times better that the stock Vee rubber.
The Pirelli Diablo was an option I was looking at as well but my bike never sees a track and I just cruise around. Go to work and back. Practice a stunt or 2. The tyres are not even run in yet and it has more grip than the stock ones.
I'm happy so far, I have yet to test them in wet weather.

@Archer & fish-man....
I'm a member of the BMW Motorrad Club KZN, been one for 3 years now and actually became a committee member last month. Typically we don't see many superbikes (RR maniacs) join the club, its 95% GS riders with the occasional GS rider with too much money and has an RT or GT for the easy stuff... Our club has fantastic members, the support and wealth of experience / knowledge of products is invaluable.
Group riding is well organised and done in a safe manner, always a leader and a tail. We follow a proven recipe for riding, staggered formation, safety distances, good etiquette on gravel so as not to roost the guys behind. Always wait at turns for the next guy behind to catch up. In all its great fun. We ride once every two weeks, typically anything from 10 to 25 bikes at a time. An average ride would be between 200 and 350km.
Additional to that, we arrange long weekend rides two or three times a year for the whole club, our next one is in August to the Hole in the Wall on the wild coast. Then regularly smaller groups will arrange other trips, 5 of us did 3 days through Lesotho earlier this year. Others did the West Coast Train & Ride from JHB.
The point is you get to meet great people and see lots of new places, even if just within your province. I'd say its worth the membership fee, which for KZN is R400 per annum!
Are these official BMW clubs supported by the dealers or what?

Check out No Noise plugs.
Got myself a set and I suddenly feel sorry for those not wearing earplugs at highway speeds, much much softer wind noise, I can still hear enough to have a conversation with someone and be aware of my surroundings. But mostly the increased comfort even riding on highways. Definitely recommend wearing plugs.
