Yup they are the best compromise I've found where you don't feel blocked up like you have a cold and can still hear what you really do need to hear as well.

Pricey, but then if you don't lose them they'll last as long as multiple pairs of disposables and probably cost the same.

Those are half the price of mine, I consider yours cheap :p

Got them serviced as well about a month ago (for free) and detuned it a bit at the same time so I could hear more. Feel like they are brand new again :D

I keep them in the the provided container attached to the bike key. So I don't see myself losing them.

That's the exact problem.

On your bike key it unscrews as you ride and when you check again the container is gone.

And it's that one time when you didn't use them for whatever reason.

In my case I literally dropped it in front of me because that tube is so finicky to handle and then I just couldn't find it.

Suspect it may have dropped into the bike.

I've been looking for someone local to do it.

Do they do it directly or do they send you to a ear specialist for the mold first? How much all in?

There is abranch next to Settlers High School in Bellville. Pretty sure there is one in town as well (and around the country). You've got to make an appointment with the institute and they put some stuff in your ear to make the mold. That gets sent off to Jhb where the actual ear plug is made. Takes about a week to have it made and back to wherever you had the mold done.

It was R700 when I did mine 3 years ago, and I think it is around R900 now. So waaay more expensive than any so called ordinary ear plug

Hey guys, i need some advise for a friend. he's interested in a NC700/NC750.
He's found a 2013 NC700 with a mere 5000km on the clock going for R55k. The bike has a taller aftermarket windshield and a Stealth exhaust tip.

We test rode the bike and its all good. has one fall nothing major just a dent/scratch on the right side bar end and a small scratch on the front tire fairing/guard.

Any opinions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

P.S R55k is already pushing a bit over budget so anything recommended over that will wasted energy.

For that price I expect a bike with no scratches and what not.

Regardless of the mileage.

A friend bought a much newer 750 version with DCT for only a little bit more last week.

Any Supermoto riders out there?

Looking at a WR450 that has been converted, and road legal.

Pro's / cons ? Opinions?

Supermoto rider here. I have a KTM 690SMC R.

Pro's of having a WR450SM is that it's fun. Wheelies. Fun.
Con's, Since it is an offroad bike, you will have to service it more often than a factory road legal Sumo like a DRZ400sm or a 690SMC.

Either way, you are going to have fun. I consider my grom a mini Supermoto
