Jeez I reckon they are probably the best out there if you just go out there.

What did they do?

Unfortunately it seems ill have to stick with my little 250 till the end of the year or early next year before I can upgrade unless I can somehow snag a decent bike for dirt cheap. It's due a service and they quoted me about R2k? Is this reasonable for a +-35k service?

That's pretty decent.

Especially if there is a valve check to be done at that mileage.

That's very cheap. Honda quoted me R6500 for my 32000km service.

****ing hell thats crazy.

My biggest one on the Triumph was 4k and that was because of the valve check.

Does that 6500 maybe include chain and sprockets or some other extras?

Things I learned today:

#1: The reason that guy was hooting at me is cause my number plate fell off.

#2: A slip on Gpr exhaust for my bike (Er6) costs R5800 at the trusted local bike shop.

GPR is solid...but crazy loud usually.

Although it being a Twin it won't scream, just thud.

The price? I don't know what's the norm.

I do prefer loud, would be nice to get a strong deep powerful sound from it. So when blipping the throttle it'll get noticed. Like on Royal Jordanian videos, a few rpm and is loud enough to get the point across.

I just about never say this... but this ****ing dumb bitch nearly causes an accident at a circle with high traffic because she had forgotten her indicator on. While I'm riding 3 or 4m behind her I try to let her know that it is still on (stays on for about another 1km). Nah, she rather makes sure I can't lane split past her by actually putting her car into the oncoming lane. I eventually stopped in front of her, got off and told her it is still on. She quickly turns it off and proceeds to moan at me for lane splitting, and doesn't flinch for a second when I ask if if she realised she almost created an accident. Nah, that evil lane splitting is far more important than T-boning someone at 60km/h (the circle is poorly made and from where she was coming you can cruise through at 80+)

I hate those circles where one party can basically go straight.

It's virtually begging for an accident to happen as they never slow down.

Price seems about right in the current climate.

Check their Euro price on website and compare.

I use to think that maybe people are just not bike aware, but now I realise that they actually are, they just prefer to be a-holes about it. Although lane splitting is allowed, a some of cagers out there feel that it is better to push the bikers out of the way. that being said, the majority of the cagers allow bikers to lane split. it is way safer to lane split, because is i was ever in an accident, it would be better to be nudged by a cager on his/her cellphone, than sandwiched between two cars because the person behind me is not paying attenting to the road.

I have now two days in a row failed at using a GoPro.

First yesterday got to work and there was just nothing on the camera even though I was sure the red light was flashing. Then last night wanting to use it to go home it was dead, obviously didn't switch it off and have now put the Auto Off function on.

Then this morning same story, got here and there's no video.

Had it record at my desk and turns out at 13 seconds it throws an SD Card Error. Popped it out and back in and seems fine now, but formatted it anyway.

Guess we'll try again tonight.

That being said it's probably a good thing. Why does having a camera on your head make you try NOT to ride like an absolute twat and in trying to do so you ride super twattish?

You know what PISSES me off - tailgating. Sitting on my fscking ass because you REALLY want to get to the slip way and shave 5 seconds off your commuting time. I'd never do it but I can totally understand why some bikers toss some ball bearings up into the air and wish the car behind him the best of luck with his middle finger!

I use a Drift. Had it stuck on my head, was cool...and then I mounted it to my bike's handle bar. Camera on the helmet is annoying (video moves around during playback, more difficult access to controls, wind resistance and wind noise..yes, the smallest gap will cause a "whistle").

What I've come to realise after getting my bike is that people tend to think that splitting it's illegal and we're bring hooligans, in the vaal especially, when I split at robots people nudge forward to try get ahead of me cause why should I be ahead of them.

I use that Garmin virb camera, nice big button on the side to start recording. I often forget up have a camera on me, so i guess my riding style doesn't change.

My neighbour is a mechanic and he told me about the bearings even offered to keep some for me. Right now I won't attempt such things I'm afraid of what I'll become when I have some riding experience.
