I have on some occasions omitted the boots but that's if the place I'm going to is close, will consist of slow speed riding and I wouldn't have anywhere to store the boots.

I'm waiting for my final offer from the US but it looks promising. Will officially put her up for sale then.

Triumph Street Triple
2010
19700km
Triumph performance pipes
Seat cowl, fly screen, belly pan and wind shield.

New front brakes
Tyres still good
Just did the 20k service.
Next service at 30k I think.

All I want to do is settle my finance so the bike will be cheap for a quick sale.

Yoh, that is a good price. Think they go for around R 80k or something now.

If I was in the market for a new bike I would jump at the chance. Just too in love with my S1000RR still :o

For something similar to mine, not less than R65k. So my asking price is about R10k less than sale value.

Ah, that S1000RR. I really think the old one is a beauty but something about the new one that irks me. I just don't like it at all.

I have a 2012, wanted to buy a 2014 earlier this year, but wife wanted nothing of it :D
I actually agree with you on that though now that I can't have the new one.
 
Ha, got to ride a CBX500 while I'm in the USA, that thing is so darn light. It felt like I would be able to throw it around with any tiny movement. Guess that's normal though when you compare it to the lumbering beast I'm usually on :p
 
Do a 3.5km commute on my k6 gsxr600. Always wear my helmet, jacket and gloves, and if I do hit the n1, always add the pants and boots. I should probably wear boots all the time.

Previous bikes, mbx50, nsr250 mc18, gsxr400 gk71, tzr250 3ma, rm125

USA, the land of no lane splitting...here I come. Don't know how I'll survive.
 
I have a 2013 BMW R1200R. Use it for commuting (occasionally) and on weekends.
 
Sorry for the hijack, but what bike would you guys recomend for a beginner rider. Im going to use it for commuting and also weekend trips.
Can i realistically learn to ride on a 400? superbike look type bike.
Oh my budget is around R25k

You can learn on a 400 no problem, otherwise a Kawasaki Ninja 250 is great starting, but for 25k you'd have to be lucky.

You son of gun... Looks to be pretty close to the perfect setup for me, but I have to do with just the one for now. The wife would most likely dismember me if I had to get any more! What's the one in the middle, cant quite place it...

1) Honda CRF 250L (2014) - Kiff little thing, GF likes it
2) Yamaha XT660R (2014) - My Noise maker :D for the thrills
3) BMW F800GSA (2014) - My Baby :love:

Had a spending spree this year ;)

The CRF is Stock, I gutted and modded the exhaust (weighed a ton). Its still pretty quiet, but more responsive. The Yamaha has Akrapovic slipons (awsomeness galore), Touring Screen, hand guards, bash bars, Givi box, Pro Taper Bars and a Hype sump guard. The Beemer I have the full crash bars on, modded the stock exhaust and the BMW sump guard.

The worst thing is, I have not ridden in two weeks .... eish #fail
