It's pretty much the same. I'm between a 34/36 in levis. They are slightly loose around the waist and I need to use a belt.

Bugger that's what I feared, because I dislike wearing belts on the bike.

How about those over pants in summer? I have winter Alpinestars but they are a bit crazy for summer.

Do they stay put over your 34's?

Took the Bike in to Club Motors fountains Saturday... Now to wait for the repair bill. Insurance shouldn't have any issues with the spill I hope. Else my Christmas bonus is borked :o

Well it's a wee bit on the loud side for me but runs well enough. Will definitely do the remap though.

Only issue so far I picked up once riding is that the spring on the rear brake lever is touching the pipe so will need to try and shift it slightly.

Sym Symphony 150 Scooter.
Last week it overtook a Ferrari (stuck in bumper to bumper traffic).

Almost year end for me :D Planning some nice and lazy half day excursions to nowhere and back, hopefully I can rack up over 1000km (sounds like so little actually, haha). No better way imo for a little cleansing of mind and soul

I'm bike less till early next year :( Parts ordered but repairs are closed till early Jan. I'll just use my bakkie and go out to the damn or something :D

Is this the race-only one? Is there going to be a local series?

How much are they and is there any benefit except the purchase?

I'm getting the normal street version, you can get factory parts and modify it for track racing though. They're selling new for 63k locally, which is the same price as a Ninja 300. I can't really comment on parts/service levels as this'll be the first KTM I own.

I looked at a Honda CBR500 too, they were selling for 74k but now they're up to 81k.. madness.

Bet it's the only one with ABS as well. I won't buy a road bike without again.

Thought it was race rep only. Good price. Why not the naked 390?

I just pulled the trigger on a BMW RnineT :D I'll be counting the days till January 2

What spec? Seems you can customise it to death. What do they cost by the way?

A couple of nice presents from yourself to yourself in here :D
Hehehe, those are the best kind of presents :)

Mine will be stock standard when I take delivery. I'll probably change the seat after a couple months though.
Cost was R152 400.00

Interesting. The bars would be my first change.

Seat was pretty good.

have to admit i am somewhat careless.

i have a dakar which i sometimes use to rush about on.

but alas - i wear little more than normal pants, shirt & shoes - all very casual stuff - no jacket, no gloves

Skin grafts cost infinitely more than bike gear.

Even more so in time than in money. And you might be in a position where you find yourself unable to generate an income.

Think about it.
