You have to have some dB loss or else what's the point of wearing them?With the right plugs you have no loss in senses at all.
But each to their own.

Lekker.
My Cousins X Diavel S (Brothers Vespa and my Harley).
<snip>
Super jealous about that Diavel.. The Vespa is a funny touch.
Vespa's max comfortable/safe speed in top gear is around 80km/h, you guys ride behind the Vespa in 1st gear the whole way?
Whats the beat bike to start riding with? Im thinking of getting one, but not sure where to start... any advice?
I'm biased because I own one, but if you are short (like me) the Grom is actually a very good bike to learn on. Lightweight, easy to get both feet down, enough speed to exceed the speed limit around town. Not allowed on highways though.Whats the beat bike to start riding with? How dodgy would it be to use a carbon full face downhill mtb helmet with a scrambler on the road, common sense tells me it's not such a retarded idea?
My logic may potentially be flawed though![]()
Shame he had to wait till I got a bike before he could, But he's loving the Diavel. So much so, my sunday mornings are "ruined" cos he's at my place before 7 ready to ride.
You should see the attention the Vespa gets when we're out on the roads. HAHA, people look dik confuzzled...
We're like the start to a bad 2 line joke:
So 2 Italians and an American ride into Hout Bay ....
Will never be going much faster than 80km/hr, downhill guys get too some pretty crazy speeds/hectic forces involved.Depends, you think mtb helmets are made to withstand 120km/h crashes?
HilariousBut sounds like you three have a lot of fun, and that's pretty much what matters the most.
