So Moto Mate fourways allowed me to change my gloves. Spirit is a decent brand so I will be testing on Monday morning. Hopefully these keep the finger tips toasty.

How much? I didn't see them when I was there on Thursday. Did you see the RST ones for around 1.2k?
R700. Which is cheaper than the Rider gloves I had previously. The fourways store is a clearance store they don't keep as much stock as rivonia . These were the only brand name winter gloves. They did have an awesome alpine star summer gloves marked down from R1300 to R600 I was tempted, but managed to resist.

Ai jai jai.

No they are not a decent brand. They are simply a Chinese rebrand for more money.

But I hope for your sake that it works. And also lasts.

Good on them for swopping gloves after two weeks of use. I’ve only ever returned gloves after a single weekend (well one track day) and they were absolutely knackered so it wasn’t hard to convince them they were rubbish.

I don't have much confidence in these they are thinner than the ones I swapped but thought the name might make some difference to the quality, I also didn't have too many options to choose from. I would have been pissed if they didn't change the gloves, I had them for two weeks but only used them for seven days and the stitching opened.
Anyway, not too much winter left, I'll suffer it through if these don't work or might consider those snowboarding mittens I give up on winter gloves.

Same reason I returned the ones I had as the stitching was coming apart.

They were Alphinestars but in the cheaper made in Vietnam range.

Full foulies this morning. Toasty warm and dry

No man LOL

Some feedback. Definitely betterthan what I had. Although not as cold this morning as last week.

This morning was positively toasty compared to last week. Even though it rained a a little, it was still warmer. :)

Howzit ouens

Anyone know how to disable the speed control/governor on an electric motorcycle? I know it's either cutting a white wire or taking the connectors apart but there is also talk on changing up some device to make it faster.

Get the sense that it'll be different for every make/model. What brand is it?

Starting with what make and model would be a very good start.

It will almost certainly not be universal.

That being said I would imagine that governor is in place to add longevity to the motor/battery and not just to make you go slowly.
