Starting with what make and model would be a very good start.

It will almost certainly not be universal.

That being said I would imagine that governor is in place to add longevity to the motor/battery and not just to make you go slowly.

the law here regarding ebikes is strange because my ebike bicycle is way faster then my ebike motorcycle. The motorcycle is governed to Canadian law as far as i know.

Aaah well couldn’t exactly smell you were in Canada from the original post.

im in usa sorry. the most if not all of these types of ebikes are made in canada and you be lucky to get one in the usa. I am hoping to get the bike up to above 20 mph if possible.

Just bear in mind that likely everything has been designed and chosen with a certain limit in mind. Although, possibly 2mph won't make a world of difference, but the brakes could become cooked if it needs to stop from a higher speed, suspension might bottom out quicker, battery will discharge faster etc.

I wouldn't really mess with it, unless you don't really need it, and can afford being without it if it breaks?

i hear you and have thought of it but just a little more speed would be awesome.

I currently own both these and a kymco scooter.

It's my second ebike (bicycle) cause I was hit off my first one.

I looked at Zero but not heard of Brammo.

Looked at Daymak range and a couple of others I can't remember but for florida I needed a certain type of bike.

Oh I see it became the Victory Empulse because Polaris bought them out.

Never heard of Daymak.

Zero were kind of the pioneers of the whole thing (well Agni was with regards to the motors but all Zero bikes now have Agni motors in).

Brammo I seem to recall were the evil people who stole the design but it maybe have been someone else.

They were my first option.

Ugh. Wet gloves plus wet jacket = chilly hands and chafed nipples

Nothing here in Durban .
I do not like riding with people who do not know how to ride in formation , it is extremely dangerous and events like this bring out the crazies . Even the toy run i will not ride in the mass ride , i go strait to the venue , some crazies do 160 in the pack and most do not know how to ride in staggered formation .

Yea, it can get a bit out of control. I tend to ride in smaller groups to larger events for the same reason. This however will be a lot of different associations getting involved. There were a couple of posts about it on various pages that belong to different clubs, so it should be fairly structured. I did the charity ride for the Kyalami bike festival last year and it was around 1000 bikes - fortunately with JMPD and the ThinkBike Marshalls, riders pretty much behave. For some of the superbike riders, they hung back a little and took full advantage of the total highway closure :D
