Look guys why are you even comparing the n95 with P900? i dont get it cant you find another phone that at least looks good enough to compare?

hi guys
if any of you would like to sell your n95s give me a shout.
Thanx!!

I agree, switching off the functions such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G will help. There is also a way to reduce the Wi-Fi to low power settings.
I did find a difference between using a normal 128K sim, as opposed to a 3G sim. Somehow the battery lasts longer with the 3G sim. Is this at all possible?

I think it could be possible yes. The newer sims are newer technology as well. Maybe they use less power. Same as the Memory Cards. The bigger the memory card, the more power it uses. I think that the newer memory cards also use less power.

If I'm wrong please correct me guys.;)

Had my N95 for a few weeks now.
Best little gadget I have ever owned, but the battery life really sucks.
I have to charge it everyday or else it dies the next.
I did expect better than that, at least 2 full days, but to late now.
Great handset, k@k battery life.

Nokia CA-100 USB Charger

Its kinda difficult to get a 'perfect' phone (so is evrything else)! We just have to compromise there and there. With all these top of range specs on the N95, I wouldn't be surprised if the battery performance is poor. You guys may want to consider USB chargers like the "CA-100", I wonder if its available in SA? I used this earlier this year for my N80. I have colleagues at work who are USA citizens (my campany HQ is in Washington DC). Here is the link: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/news/item/4763_Charge_your_Nokia_via_USB_with.php

What I like about it is that it's so portable (unlike carrying the actual battery charger).

Ah, another brave nokio soldier that's defending the poor battery life, instead of demanding a fix, or better battery.

Nokio depends heavily on their fan boys. :p

Well, I've been a Nokia fan since time immemorial! Just that I decided that it was time to change. Change is good, and I'm loving my TyTN!

Same here! After owning 6 nokios, it was time for a change. ;)
