Can you please post items in here regarding network status (Downtime, Upgrades) etc...

We can maybe get a admin to sticky it.

With process changes taking shape, and notification prompts being included to me, i will ensure you guys know before you let me know.

Unless you suddenly have power failure or something alike that was unforseen suddenly occur.

We can get a thread sticky'd and then you can just update it whenever...
 
I like this idea. Just a question on these notices.

Neoconnect supports receiving of messages. Couldn't notices also be sent to the phone then.

As a general public notification - widespread to here has reach to all.
Think about this - if the system is down, how can we notify you on your phone?

I think he means with regards to upcoming planned downtime for upgrades and the like.
 
I like the idea too. Normally if the internet goes down, for me atleast, I can still SMS/Phone as usual. What are the chances of the WHOLE network going down?

Douglasdale down

Hi Neotel Rep,

Douglasdale area (Randburg side) has been more down than up over the last few days. Guys how does one establish which tower one is connecting to so I can provide more detail? Won't help now as there is no signal but I can check when it comes back up...
