The problem in this stage is to get highsites to put our CDMA sites, this takes forever to get approval from the landlords.
There is some nice things comming and i think pay as you go is one of them.
Regarding kuilsriver coverage...i think your closest site will be kasselsvlei that is already live.
The exact freq of the eqiupment ....will get back to you but its around the 800mhz range
The phone will be useing a TNC male connector on the antenna side.

do the current devices have a battery backup so emergency calls can be made during power outages?
I take it the normal emergency numbers (10111 etc) work as normal?

When will Neotel begin Wimax trials?
When they've installed their WiMax equipment and tested it. At the moment, they still busy trying to launch their first range of products and cover the major metropolitan areas. If I recall correctly, I remember a date of towards the end of the year, beginning of next year being thrown around for the beginning of the WiMax roll out

True.That's their problem not the consumers, they shouldn't have launched with tech like that.
