It seems like they now also offer ADSL packages in conjunction with Vodacom's HDSPA and theiir original Wireless packages. I wonder who the backbone is for their ADSL, since Vodacom is obviously responsible for the HSDPA.
Hey Mr H
Seems they have integrated their platform with Vodacom’s about a month or two ago; as throughput in Cape Town on the iBurst network has increased dramatically, with far more stable IP’s that are “shaped” to a lesser degree and far less "dud" IP's...
All new iBurst Wireless, ADSL and HSDPA Packages are Pay-per-use by default. This means that when you have used up your allocated data bundle for the month, you will pay for any extra data you use at an out-of-bundle rate called Pay-per-use. Pay-per-use is charged per mb and rounded up to the nearest mb.
If you are currently on one of the old iBurst Wireless packages, your account will not automatically be provisioned with Pay-per-use. Instead, your data will either be capped or throttled when it is used up.
I just spoke to tradepage. They said that I must send an email to [email protected] and stipulate my request.
