trying to download a CACHED episode and i get 0.7kbps.. sigh.. help anyone? its driving me nuts

What episode is this? When was it upload, by how many have it been download?

Are you sure it is still cached.

uploaded this morning and yes it is still cached.. it was a random episode.. something like Robin Hood.. just downloaded in to test the speed.. so Cached and non-cached downloads have the same speed of 0.7kbps

Think this is an IS problem, server must be overloaded, got 30MB in 3 hours :-( with a cached nzb.

Just got an e-mail back from Giganews support and they confirmed that somebody... "The ISP" was shaping the traffic last week. This is on an OpenWeb (IS) uncapped account that is supposed to be P2P friendly.

cancel ur overpriced giganews acc
and get a much better priced astraweb one at www.astraweb.com
turn on ur ssl at 256bit, higher security and forget about the shaping issues

ADSL 4 Mb line and rental from Telkom (not sure how much that is these days)
OpenWeb Uncapped Express (IS fibre) = R1299.00
Unlimited Astraweb account = R130.00 a month

Recently my limiting of download speed has not been working.
I usually limit it to 35Kb/s while surfing or playing poker but lately when I set the limit, it just gets ignored and keeps downloading at full line speed. Doesn't matter if I set it to 5Kb/s or 35Kb/s.

Anybody else experience this before and how did you fix it? Where can I download v0.28?

Make sure your Scheduler is turned off if you want manual upload/download settings, otherwise Alt.Binz ignores your manual settings and sets it back to your Scheduler settings...

I wonder if someone can point me in the right direction, I have just started to get involved with the SAIX news server, and I am connected and downloading at decent speeds. However I can't get more than one connection, the first one connects and the second and third just keep timing out.

Any ideas? Using Altbinz.

I had the same problem recently, but the next day 2 sessions were connecting again.

Last night I again had only 1 session, and this morning it wasn't connecting at all.

Or just try another file haha.
