Nexus 5X - Network Issue

For the past couple of weeks I've been experiencing network issues with my Nexus 5X, I'm not sure if it's because of the last update that went out or if its my mobile provider (Telkom mobile). At random moments I'll be connected via LTE, and then the cross over the LTE appears meaning no internet connect. My workaround lately has been to drop the preferred network from LTE to 3G. But on 3G I've seldomly experienced the network will go to EDGE then I'm screwed with the slow speed. Anyone have a clue what the issue may be?

You have moments when it shows connected and there is no through put? Another thing that seemed to get my sim going again was to put it in another phone. Hope that helps i am also on Telkom mobile

Have you restarted? I find I need to restart my Android phones every few weeks, both Samsung and Sony required it.
