No Data connection but full signal

This is early in the morning, barely OK.

This will stop completely in the next 30 minutes and will not work again until about 22:00 hours.

OK, 30 minutes later and it is stone dead, speedtest fails, cannot even complete a ping test.

I had to switch to Vodacom to post this.

Maybe its time to start talking about pro-rata refunds, Cell C is clearly not managing to fix this.

I tried both of my Cell C Sims again last night in my Hauwei router - both full signal but timeout a plenty.......

Today it was ok till around 9:45am, gone for a ball of @#%^ now.

I just want a darn timeline. This is on a company contract, I am not getting out of it, I would just like to know if I should buy a 500mb/1gb/2gb 8ta bundle to use while they 'working around the clock to find a solution to the problem' . What sort of SLA does Cell C have with Huawei that 2 months down the line they have still not managed to fix the problem? If I wasn't able to sort out an issue on one of our systems in 2 weeks I would probably be fired, yet two months down the line and we are still sitting here in silence with no follow up response from Cell C...

Seems like the moderater selfishly deleted my posts & conveniently kept Brunette Babes post.
Wheres the fairness in keeping in line with the house rules. This once again proves how bias this forum is.

Different rules for different races.

It will take you another two months to realize that you have achieved nothing. If you sell package now (as I said two months ago), you can recover more money.

It is the best effort service. To get your money back you would have to prove they don't do the best effort.

I don't want to jinx it, but I have some speed on Cell C tonight....... Will keep monitoring!

Still absolutely nothing in bromhof. This is completely ridiculous. Had anyone heard when they will get this sorted?

I had both of my CellC contracts canceled without any problems. Got a 8ta prepaid sim today with blazing speeds on 3G. Full coverage everywhere. I haven't been this happy in months

What happened to your devices, money already paid etc

I only had a Giga 20 and a Straight Up 30 so I only had simcards for both contracts. Luckily I didn't have any devices with the contract

This area has been congested for 18 months and they have done nothing.

Wouldn't be too difficult to prove that their service has been poor, and not a best effort.

Problem persists. Ref# 1730495.

I'm surprised ICASA has not launched a probe into this yet...I'm sure they must be getting hundreds of complaints about CellC and their lack of network stability. But then again, when you spend R145m on advertising and are focused on market share, everything else tends to take a backseat. Got to love the African ethos of self-enrichment at the expense of others...

I disagree. Certainly they can prove, they did many things - unsuccessful - correct. As long you accept "the best effort" T&C condition, you are defensless, particularly after signing contract.

Full signal, no throughout all the way along Atterbury east of the highway. Speedtest fails to connect at all.

Crap crap crap crap CellC!

Well, after 18 months I can say they have just not been trying hard enough !
