As of this morning I am unable to access international sites and access to local sites is slow. Needless to say, no-one is available via the ADSL support numbers 0800 375 375 and 10215 (PLEASE GOD SAVE US FROM THESE BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!).

Anyone experiencing the same problem or have any feedback on the problem

Hey I thought I was the only one; thanks for bringing this one. I thought I got capped last night; but this morning there was no luck (I hope this is not a cruel April 1st joke!).

I am using a prepaid ADSL account to get international--and that works so it is not a problem with modem or line--seems a problem with TELKOM ISP.

Same problem on my side!
But my isp is M-Web, here we go again.

I hope its all not related to conficker. Can anyone with international working go to isc.sans.org and see if there's anything about conficker taking over the world?

Update: ok - false alarm. Just remoted into work and checked out the page. Its not the conficker. :)

Same here with MWEB....local is slow and international is nowhere to be seen!

This seriously messes with my morning routine :/

Webafrica Alert
DNS concern on the SAIX Network #1
Clients will experience connectivity and browsing issues to local and international websites.
We are currently awaiting feedback, an update will be provided once an ETA is issued by Telkom.

Internation browsing Ok on MTN Durban

Same problem here (For real) on Telkom Saix

Try using OPENDNS ip 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220

Thanks to cyberarmy.

Can anyone please confirm that using opendns does in fact work?

Either my new router is doing something funny which makes it not work or the network is so broken that opendns doesn't fix the issue.

Thanks
