no international bandwidth

Nice LG - you're right anyone should be able to buy iburst and have it work straight away.

If you aren't able phone helpline and ask someone to come fix it for you. They have external companies they defer 'beyond their range' calls to (after all mtu blah,blah). They will come at moment for free.

If you have speeds under 100Kbits/s and or large disconnection problems (hrs-days) then you are applicable as far as I know.

I think there was a setup fee (if remember correctly) ... they should strongely advise it due to technical demand required on some occations.
 
ANybody has trouble accessing international sites now?
The odd thing streamtuner is working blasting away @ 128 and 192 kbps.

read some posts about people not able to visit international sites then check the incident report page at http://www.iburst.co.za/networkstatus2.php and it said:

although it was dated for the 16th and it does say its resolved, but maybe this is just a relapse of whatever problem that was.

yEA and yes that was supposed to be re-solved yesterday.

i guess best we can do is make a phone call or two to the helpdesk to make sure they know the problem needs engineer attention pronto and then go do soemthing else for a few hours, I'll probably get to catch a legal movie for once at ster kinekor today :)
 
Good idea , so i can stop flushing my dns now?

At least they could post a helpdesk critical update, it may help to explain the "loss of blazzing Speed" non-connectivity to prospective bursty buyers ?
 
pROBLEM is that i am playing kingsofchaos www.kingsofchaos.com
and i get like 200000 gold every 30 minutes.
so seeing as i logged off last night or early this morning i should have over 5 million gold lying around and i am gonna be attcked if iu dont spend it...
you just dont leve gold lying around.......................................................:(
 
Ok its fine now. Whatever the problem is, hope it gets sorted out soon!
 
Still suffering on my side, Local is blazing but International is non-existant. What happened to the bandwidth WBS got from IS. Its not much but surely it should provide some connectivity for us.

International failure
Certain international routes are unreachable.

Status is INVESTIGATING and its marked as critical and affecting all subscribers so hopefully someone will pull the finger out so to speak.

I don't think it's an issue that applies on a per route basis.

A friend of mine is also on iBurst and he's working with some servers that I can't even ping.
