If u want a camera u can depend on and a phone that doesnt black screen of death every day, don't get the Omnia. It didn't hang at all in the first 6 days. The next 7 days was another story. [edit]Apparently this is a known issue where the screen goes into power saving mode but never wakes up again, hence the phone is on but you can't see anything! [/edit]
For low light pics, the camera totally sucks. That's my opinion.
If I want a decent low light pic I have to make sure I am not too close to the subject or else over exposure. I have to make sure I am as still as a statue and that the subject doesn't move a muscle.
Text input is a mission if u aren't sitting still or in a comfortable position.
The alarms are just plain annoying in terms of setting them up.
Lancelot's comments about touch screens not being mature yet for his liking are spot on, IMO, when it comes to the Omnia.
If u haven't used Windows Mobile before, that's another reason to avoid the Omnia. The s/w on the phone could be better.
There are things i like about the phone, but what I have mentioned is enough to give the advice of 'be wary of the Omnia'. If i had to go back in time with the Dalorean and Doc Brown (www.bttf.com reference) I would choose the N82, which by all accounts sounds like a rock solid phone.
Perhaps the Omnia can be an amazing phone if one spends time customising it, which I havent yet had the time to do. I've done some customising, but haven't installed much 3rd party apps other than Opera Mini[1] and GMail[2], neither of which work all that well on the Omnia!
[1] Not an Omnia specific version (Omnia not listed on Opera site).
[2] Kicks u out once u r logged in and then try to open an email.
EDIT: I feel sorry for all the non-IT people that are taking the Omnia deals from MTN/iTalk/Vodacom, etc... Good luck to them figuring out how to get the best out of this phone. P.S. I see iTalk's deal is now R265 per month, R10 less than last month, despite them saying the 'special' would be retracted after 31 Oct.

I'm just so bored of that same old Nokia look...sigh, but I guess if the device works better, I have to swallow the looks pill and keep using Nokia. Whats cool is the E66 does have Voip. I also see the new N85 comes with OLED screen? Will have to find out what it is really 
) with the pinching of your fingers to zoom out etc but it still does not make it as useable as a normal computer. I'll have you know that in typing web addresses using the on screen keyboard I, on numerous occasions, pressed an "r" instead of a "t", for example, and I by no means have chubby fingers!
But at least u will be spoilt for choice!
