Official Fallout 4 Thread

Are the minutemen missions just repetitive the whole time or does it actually get to a point? I'm past saving the whole minutemen castle etc, and the missions after that just seem the same over and over, its either a ghoul or raider problem.

Currently I'm enjoying the game so much that I don't want it to end, so still doing lots of side quests.

But I'm also cautious of losing interest at some point and not actually finishing the main story.

So a bit of a balancing act. But for now, there is still too much I want to accomplish, so will keep going with the side quest type stuff.

Must admit that I got bored of the missions from the Brotherhood, still doing the Minutemen one's though.

Play until you are sick of the side quests then finish the main story. I finished main story with around 70% of side quests done, regret that I have to do them now after the main story rather than before. Feels more empty and that I'm delaying the inevitable break from the game. The main story will keep you gripped so don't worry about that. I went with institute btw. Screw the metal racists and the ondergrond bergies!

I joined both BOS and RR, BOS bored me about 3 quests in, RR underground bergies have decent quests so far. Plus the RR paint on my power armor looks pretty cool :)

I am doing the exact same, concentrating on all the side missions, then the main story line.

I've rarely used power armour, not a big fan of the power armour HUD

It works quite well, on my way to the glowing sea I found Vault 95, walked straight into about 5 gunners, 2 turrets and 1 Assaultron, if it wasn't for that power armor I would have been toast. I only tend to use it for the difficult situations such as high rad zones or those huge robots with miniguns and rockets.

There is a point right before the main story starts to make you pick sides where you can potentially do "repeat" missions for minutemen, BoS, railroad and Institute at the same time... Hell i was claiming farms for Minutemen only to reclaim them for the BoS (from myself)... A bit buggy. After the main story you won't have this luxury, 1 or 2 factions will not be available.

So just a heads up, if you want to explore everything, you probably need to hold off on the main story, or do up to the bit where you will have to pick sides and then stall (not very long to end story from there anyhow)

So I signed up for Secret Santa on Reddit this year.

My match showed interests mostly as gaming and in particular open world games like Fallout and Far Cry.

So I made him a T-Shirt with the Vault Boy logo on the chest and a Property of Vault Tec Logo on the back.
He is also going to study law next year so I made him a mug with "Trust me... I'm ^[ ALMOST] a lawyer" printed on it.

Unfortunately the printers and I somehow miscommunicated somewhere and they made 2 of the T-shirts instead of one.

Now I have an extra shirt in Large size and would like to give it to somebody who also loves the game.

Anybody interested? I would prefer if it is in Pretoria (I'm in the East) and can be collected.

Size: Large
Colour: White

I won't mind that. :D

On 9gag there were pics of a guy that "accidentally" created a North-Korean labour camp. I'm actually quite impressed and a bit envious. I think I am going to try and turn all of my settlements into labour camps...

I'm just shy of 4 days gameplay and I've done all I can do, can't play the game for longer than 15min now tbh. It was a blast though!!
