I spoke to Zak also. He said that I might have to pay in because of the cracked screen but they will replace it. Will cost me R2100. Not too bad to get a new phone I guess, but still, doesn't make sense that I have to pay to have an in warranty unit replaced when the problem clearly isn't the screen.

A month or so ago, Htc confirmed M8 coming to SA.
Anyone have any details perhaps.

Have you experienced any build-quality issues with your 'mini'? Am thinking of getting this phone, but have read numerous forum posts on the white plastic cracking around the volume buttons. This is apparently only on the white/silver colour (I don;t think any of S.A. networks are stocking the black one). Would be interested to hear how it's worked out for you.

I'm not entirely sure what it's about, I just kept coming across the term in the updates thread on XDA. Seems people are changing their "CID" to get updates quicker on their handsets. I have have no idea how it's done though.
