One month additional ADSL plan.

Hey everyone, thanks for the help, I'm a bit ignorant about this so bare with me.
My parents currently have the telkom adsl 384 10gb per month with closer plan 2. I've been thinking of a cheap way to get more bandwidth when I visit them for about a month because 10gb is a bit too low. Is it possible to for instance buy capped adsl cap from afrihost and use it with telkom or something along that line? I don't want to top up with telkom because it's ridiculously expensive.

Sorry for my ignorance and any help at all will be much appreciated!

Just get them to upgrade to uncapped.
 
You can use any ADSL account on any line, so just buy an Afrihost account and change the settings on the router.

Cool that's what I was hoping to hear, so it would be possible to buy prepaid bandwidth from

and just change the router settings?

Also would it be possible to get 1mbit uncapped account(only the account for one month since I'm already paying for the line rental)?

Yes, I'm not sure how Afrihost handle uncapped accounts - what the cancellation periods etc are but in theory you could.
 
Thanks everyone! And thanks for the axxess link, exactly what I was looking for, how mush data would you be able to move with their R99 optn? Anyone tried torrents with it?

You can easily buy a capped or prepaid ADSL account from us for a very reasonable amount, depending on how much data you'd like to use.
