Does the 12 have RTT/Text Call? Considering a OnePlus due to the big battery and fast charging, I have a Samsung S22 and I actually use this quite a lot with unknown callers it tends to chase them away.
Wasn't aware there was a dedicated OP12 thread! Awesome. Had mine for just over a month now. Loving it!! 12gb/256gb White version, Aliexpress, Global rom, R12.8k all in roughly... Aliexpress discount voucher used was around R1500 plus discount from the merchant too... fantastic value for money!!
Thanks for looking, bit of a bummer it doesn't have itI tried to find RTT, but was unable to. Searching the phone's settings gave me no results.
I actually had to look it up - didn't know this existed.
Also referred to as text call or call assist but you would have seen it I'm sureThanks for looking, bit of a bummer it doesn't have it
Have mine for about 3 months now. Bought it in the US so im guessing its the global version. Esim works but i have only used it with Airalo. Don't see why it wouldn't work with our local networks. VoWifi works too with MTNI've had the OnePlus 12 for 2 days now and i must say this phone offers a lot for the price. The camera is great and I'm still trying to figure it out, has a lot of good features. This is the Chinese version flashed with Oxygen OS, bought it from someone here in Joburg (probably a member in here). 512gb/16gb, green, it has eSim but when i click "add eSim" nothing happens, it would be interesting to know if anyone that imported the Global version has managed to activate eSim with any of our local service providers (I'm with MTN).
There a lot that can be customised too in the settings menu, one feature that i think is worth mentioning is that there's a setting that allows you to force authentication to restart or power off, together with disabling access to notification bar when screen is locked. This adds a little extra layer of security in case it's lost and someone tries switching it off or disabling data connection or even turning on flight mode (so that the device can't be tracked).
Sounds like you have the Global version. Please go to about phone and tell me what model number is shown there. Mine is CPH2581Have mine for about 3 months now. Thank you, so with my model being the EU version, model number CPH2581, it should have eSim, maybe there's a different reason why it won't work/doesn't respond at this point when i click "add eSim"esim does not work on Chinese models flashed with Global Rom. esim also not available not Indian variants
esim only available on EU and US devices
That forced authentication feature is also available on my S24 Ultra. All options locked besides volume modes.
How do you switch to EU ?CPH2581 is firmware number for both EU and Global roms.
I got Chinese OP12 on global firmware. I switched to EU just for quicker firmware rollouts.
Esim seems to be working (I use dual SIM).
