26 to 31 March Free??!!! Very clever!! Nice!!

Quite an unusual example of pro-rata billing. Innovative yes. I was going to be critical of it as it is not pro-rata in the true sense of the word but good to see you giving back with the free end of month option.

anyone else's international really slow today?

I am on a 10mbps ADSL line with 6mbps Gold Uncapped, and max speed that i can get internationally is 1.5-2mbps. Local is always above 6mbps. I have been trying to get Openweb support to resolve this issue, but they always report back that everything is fine on their side... i am puzzled, if it was telkom line then my local speeds would be affected too. So in a nutshell i never achieved more than 50% of the 6mbps speed internationally. And this should of be prioritized service...

Yesterday when things were finally fixed my int was fine on my 4MB silver, but today I can barely load the facebook news feed / bbc / evernote.com or most other international sites.

Local is 100% though.

I can't access the Open Web website. Anyone not able to connect ?

I want to find out about their Static IP option. I'm not running a server, but there is a website I need to connect to for work purposes that now requires I have a static IP. Any suggestions ?

My net has been very slow... still 30-60kb on a 2mb..
On other ISP's its completely fine, SO NO.. ITS NOT TELKOM (as ive been told many times(but then why are there so many complaints about slow speeds?)) giving openweb another week to fix this issue otherwise ill find a new isp which is sad.

I've enjoyed OW for a while, but this constant 'it's Telkom' is BS. I'm trying another IS reseller after my months notice is up. If they're also inconsistent, I'll have to look further afield.

I'll keep an eye on this thread and perhaps return here when OW get their system sorted.

Well, I haven't had any issues at all.
If I didn't read this forum(thread), I wouldn't know that there were/are problems.
Cruising full speed...as per usual. Lovely! :)
