Thanks again ...yes I did now that you told me :) it was in the "junk mail" but have just replied.

Thanks guys .I just got a new user name and password and ....

Looking better

I am quite happy with Openweb. The speed is fine, it is consistent. Best of all, if you query something you get a proper response in a couple of hours. My previous ISP sent me all kinds of strange invoices, sometimes duplicated for the same amounts and it took them 3-4 days to respond.

Which package are you on?

I want to buy the 10Mbit uncapped promotion but how are the speeds during the day...? And the latency for gaming...

I trust everyone enjoyed the weekend of unshaped bliss?

my 1mb vanilla ran like a beauty, no problems what-so-ever :) 10x faster than my stupid WA account.

I must agree with you. Vanilla uncapped (for its price) is surprisingly doing well!

Great speeds

Yip love my 1MB vanilla account as well, very happy Openweb user glad I moved :) Can't beat that R108 special.

yeah its insane :D

Tx openweb, you've made me believe in uncapped interwebs again

Ever since those Afrihost neanderthals got moved away from IS, I couldn't be happier on the IS network. I'm not sure if it really is directly connected to them, but I thought the network degraded when Afrihost relaunched its uncapped, and now that they're on MTN everything seems better again.

Good day,

I am new to this forum but a friend recommended me and said that I should get the answers I am looking for here. I am currently with Telkom internet, I pay roughly R86 a month for the All Access 5GB package. Due to the nature of me downloading TV series, I have realised that my cap gets used up very quickly.

Therefore I did some research and wanted to see what was out there for an uncapped service that wouldn't put me too much out of pocket. I stumbled across Open Web which was offering uncapped data at R109 a month which is only about R23 more than what I pay now. I haven't done the cross over yet as I wanted to see if anyone else has tried them out and what the service has given them.

Please could someone give me advice on this as this is probably my best option to get an uncapped line at an affordable price...R23 more a month is very manageable considering my data will be uncapped.

Thanks

anyone else's download speeds suffering? on IS - getting 0.5mb speedtests on my 4MB Vanilla uncapped

PS: Yes I've sent a support ticket :)

I've never used the Vanilla products myself, but have used Openweb for years. They always offer great support and issues all get resolved pretty quickly if the fault lies on the Openweb side. You would need to ask one of the other forum members here about the vanilla product. But I cannot fault them at all :D

Been struggling a bit on my 1Mb vanilla too, though it was fine early this morning. I just signed up last night, so I wasn't sure if it was just because it's a weekday or if there's something wrong.
