We unshaped the network at 17:30 (earlier than normal today). Now is the time to have FUNNNN!!!!!!
 
What speeds are you guys getting during the day when its shaped? Is it heavy shaping or just minor and is it affecting general speeds or just latency for gaming

I get around 280kB/s during the day, my line maxes out at night. Gold 4meg.
 
Latencies on the IS backbone are excellent day and night. I played some WoW last night and had a constant latency of 170 to EU servers. Probably the best latency I've seen to international servers in my life.

Can't really speak for the latency on the other backbones though, as I never tried with them.
 
and morning time comes and my 4MB vanilla uncapped cannot break 0.7mb/sec on a speed test, locally or internationally..

very disappointed - let's see what support does today

Hi MrBeep,

When the network is shaped, does Google Maps and YouTube still operate at the normal speed and can I continue gaming online during that period? I'm not into heavy downloads during 6am and 7pm so I'm looking for the package that suites me best without having my browsing experience compromised.

PS: Are there any trial accounts available? I'm looking at 1mb Uncapped ADSL.
 
I am currently getting +- 22 KB/s on my 1Meg vanilla uncapped.

I only activated this last night and the speeds was good then.
Is this speed (or lack of) kind of what can be expected during the day?

Downloading from the same servers on a 4Meg Mweb uncapped currently maxes out the line currently.

I'm very glad that OW has finally introduced a proper support ticket system.

Don't anybody touch anything....my 4MB Gold has NEVER been as fast as it is today, or even yesterday come to think about it.....
