I'm a little to long in pc's

And yet, a mere month ago you couldn't get a grasp on IP addresses for a LAN...
Maybe, just MAYBE, follow the advice some others have given you, instead of insisting that nothing is your fault ever.
 
So, just received this via email - have some hosting accounts with them.

" For the past week Cybersmart experienced a DNS system issue impacting a large number of our clients. This led to an increase in the number of clients experiencing slow browsing speed and connectivity. It has come to light that the problem was not specific to Cybersmart, but impacted most internet users throughout South Africa, if not world-wide."

Seems we weren't affected at Openweb though,.... or wait a minute... ;)

We don't often say this, at least not often enough MrBEEP... But have a good weekend and enjoy whatever break you can muster from it.
We can be a cantankerous bunch, but that's the way it is in most families... We appreciate what happens under the surface to keep us chugging along.

Thanks I didn't see the reply ...got sucked into "Sugar Man" on 103 ... what a special guy he is

Hi,

Since about 45 minutes ago, the internet LED on my router turns red when connected on my openweb account (obviously I'm using the correct login details). It disconnected and when trying to reconnect just comes up red. What does this mean other than obviously having no connection?

had that a couple of weeks ago. only turned green laaate that night. i also asked here but didnt get an answer.

Since 5pm my internet has been dead, sent a email to support and no response.
