works with AlwaysOn. if you go to wimpy or airport you will see AlwaysOn@wimpy for example. connect.
then go open browser and will open a always on page wich is there gateway. there will be drop down and in that drop down is openweb;mweb;FNB;IS etc etc etc. put in your adsl acc details and boom public area wireless for you buddy

ive been at food lovers/mickeyd's and the doctors this morning. they had alwayson. no option for openweb though. i chose the 'Internet Solutions' option. entered my details. but nothing.
We will be launching with Business Uncapped first. Then consumer capped, and then consumer uncapped.

Is there still a problem with international bandwidth? Cause lately my downloads using Tweaknews server are slow ( ave.150KB/s on my 4mb line. That's from 6pm till about 11pm. Only after this do I get full line speed. When I switch to IS News server I get quite decent speeds ( 350KB- 400KB) in the early evening.
So is there still a problem with international, cause it's driving me up a wall having to change servers all the time.

Anyone else stream from Twitch at 720p? I'm using a Gold Uncapped 10mb account. Some nights it works perfectly other nights its just completely hit a miss, streams for 5 seconds then pauses for 5. Switching to my Afrihost account I have no issues whatsoever? Mr Beep. is there any reason why this is the case?

Howzit peeps, just wanted to check something.
Today on 3 separate, what seemed to be random occasions, my router was still sync but lost connection and got timed out of Blops II.
With DGL starting next week I would like to find out what is the reason and to resolve the issue, if on network side or telkom line, don't really know where to go on this

I was PRO you and OW sorting out your differences, but with comments like this. I am not surprised you got removed from the OW network, never mind this forum.

Connection up the pole AGAIN today. Sigh...
I was on standard - but office hours use was unusable (I work from home).
So I upgraded to Silver - but office hours use was unusable.
So I upgraded to Gold (6mbps) - and now office hours use is barely usable. Browsing seems to be okay - but it is slow. Trying to download Adobe Reader (rebuilding my machine) and it is screaming in at 15KB/s. Taking forever to get a simple thing done.
Also trying to download .NET 4.5. 30 mins so far and counting.
And trying to download VS2010 as my VS2010 ISO was corrupted. Averaging 41KB/s. Sigh.
Is this what Gold is always like? I have read such good things about Gold so decided to take the plunge and try it out.
Oh... I normally have a TV Show streaming from Hulu while coding. Not today. The buffering and stuttering is driving me nuts.
I have a backup Afrihost prepaid. If I switch to that my speeds max out my line. So it's not my line.
Is anyone else experiencing bad speeds on OW Gold today?
