I saw a Telkom bakkie at my exchange (The small building is the exchange, right?) for the past 2 days.
They're always inside and I never get to ask them. I'm happy that I might get VDSL but scared ****less that they might *break* something.
Any ideas for my paranoia?
How is this related to OW feedback? You've been asked before not to do this but you carry on regardless.

Thanks, that explains last night, but this has been happening randomly for a few weeks. Usually only for a few minutes. Anyone else?

Is the IS news server up to its tricks again this morning? It downloads full speed for 2 minutes then dies off for 10, rinse and repeat.

IS is working 100% on my side. Downloading at full line speed (after hours). Still have to go about 80GB before I am finished with JAG and Star Trek Voyager.

my OW 2mb gold uncapped is running great but i'm having endless problems with telscum. my line had been dead for five days in one go. after they upgraded us to fibreoptics. and now my line suddenly sync only at 1536kbps instead of 2mb.
been told by the technician that i got "siht equipment" thats why i'm having problems. my phoneline has problems as well.
when i phoned telscum they told me that the problems are with my filters and splitters as the line test fine. all the splitters, filters, phones and routers had been replaced, yet the problems still the same.
unqualified and incompitant technicians seem to be the problem!
at least OW is doing a great job!

if i complain its because i do have a valid reason. had a buggy "gamers king" account. the gold uncapped work without any problem. 27/7.

MrBeep had a fiddle with my gold 2mb uncapped account and now its usable again. Holding thumbs it stays like this, this time around
If they are any thing like the TF2 pings on the IS servers then they are, to put it politely, inconsistant.
When selecting the server it shows pings in the 40 to 50 range. When logged in they fluctuate between 70 to 500 which means they are unuseable. After hours the pings are fine...
