The username has no bearing on the service level. We attach the Gold service level (which I can confirm you are on) to the username.

EDIT: nevermind could you possibly close the ticket.
I callled telkom again and spoke to somebody else and they said the installation is yet to be completed


MRBeep, could i ask: Just something my OCD noticed, my account is "different", I see peoples adsl usernames like "[email protected]" Mine is nowhere near this, is my account gold uncapped even though the username is odd.

doesnt it matter? is my account what it says it is :P
 
Just to note that your Internet will be heavily shaped Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Other than that you won't be managed.

Heavily shaped between 8am and 5pm, could be read as "managed between 8am and 5pm" :p
 
Could someone tell me if uncapped gold 1m is a better alternative to telkom? Does openweb have a newserver? I also started using netflix I pulled about 140gb from telkom before getting "managed". Will openweb be any good?

You'll never get managed by Openweb.

I would really suggest a 2Meg line for Netflix though.

I have a afterhours uncapped account.
I have no throughput at the moment.
I have restarted the router.
My webafrica account is ok.
Anyone else with the same problem.

After leaving router off for 20 minutes, it is now working.

Also experiencing very slow speeds atm. I am on the 2Mbps Gamers King (Downloaders Bling!) account.
 
Your fault is related to your Telkom exchange.

Please contact Telkom on 10210 and log a fault.

I have been using your ADSL account all night and can confirm that it is working well

I have restarted my router, after having it switched off for 20 minutes. Still no difference.
