Can someone help please

I get constant lag spikes and connection errors on this IS TF2 server, among others, 196.38.180.26 .

I sent through traceroutes to OW and was referred to a mybb article of exchange congestion.

Here are traceroutes taken now and to my untrained eye it looks like the inconsistency is happening on the IS side of things.

This is not what a 2Mb Gold uncapped speedtest (local) should look like.
I don't like Speedtest, but hey, it's actually accurate right now.

Two of your support agents are blaming shaping, and I agree there is shaping, but for some strange reason this "shaping" is also rate limiting my entire account to [currently] under 1Mb/s.

I sent you my cancellation notice.

Sorry to see you leaving.

I am currently connected to your account and its is shaped yes, but all the normal functions are working fine.

Please note, if you try and download during peak shaping times, you will experience slow browsing and other speeds. Rather schedule your downloads for after hours

I am currently on a 1Mbps Gamers King account and I am considering migrating to the Gold Leon 1Mbps account while on special.

Please advise if the 1Mbps Gold Leon account is on a superior service level than the 1Mbps Gamers King account, as I believe that the downloads on Gamers King account is already prioritized on the Gold Uncapped level after hours.

How does the Gold Leon account differs from the Gamers King account apart from having a better contention ratio?

Well your line will actually be usable during the day for one.

I canceled my Gamers King in favour of the Gold 10Mb Orange, The Gamers account will only expire end of August so I will wait it out until then. My question is when will the Gold Orange promo expire? The Leon promo shows 41 signups left but I don't see any indication on the Orange.

I have the same with TF2, however i have constant high latency. 800ms at most cases, and last night 3400ms. Other ISP accounts have sub 30ms ping.

Anybody else having connection issues? no connection on my 4mb standard and 4mb trial gold account, tried my afrihost account and its all good
 
Also having problems. Have the 4mb gamers king, and max speed was 1mb for most of day. With old Mweb account getting 5mb. Now I can not even connect to Openweb

Hi,
I have never used an ISP and felt as disappointed as I have been with OpenWeb, in less than a month of using the service. This comment here is out of the irritation of not being able to download a 7Mb file from sourceforge because the download gets interrupted all the time! A few days back the same happened and I connected using Afrihost and completed the download without any difficulty. I have read good comments about Openweb, and that is why I decided to give it a try, but I already had to request cancellation as a result of how poorly it performs, in my experience, while downloading files from the internet. I was using a 2Mbps connection and a few speed tests were showing download speeds under 300kbps.
