Thanks MrBEEP for your assistance tonight. Your idea of completely resetting my router has fixed that 'issue' (strange though) because after that, everything came right.

Interesting enough just my 2c. The other week me and my bud lan at his place.The router kept dying (no ADSL LIGHT) and this would occur randomly, sometimes steam,battle.net would work fine but he could not connect to a webpage. After a router restart it was fine again.

So this went on for week's till one day he got so fed-up he just went to lend a router plugged it in and till this date not one disconnect or anything.... Just goes to show u what routers can do when they want to make your life a Big mEss
 
Oh yes, I couldn't agree with you more! Routers are the devil! No wait, that's Telkoms job. Routers are the horns of the devil.

Invest in a Mikrotik Router and you'll never look back. They just work....

Hey Friends,

A quick heads up: Our support ticketing system is taking a vacation today. (Actually, Leon broke it ;p ) Engineers are attending. Any tickets sent between 11am and 13:00 will only be responded to this evening, as they are stuck in the system, and will only be accessible once all is back online.

Emails sent before, and after these times will be responded to by myself. (Yes, I will be doing the job of 12 people).

Normal response times can be expected.

I'm getting sub 150KB/s on a 4Mb gamers king account. I usually get full line speed after 7pm. Is the network very busy currently?
 
Hey Guys

The network is currently very very very very busy due to the Microsoft Updates released yesterday and today. It's a bit of a catch 22, as we can slow these down so that other downloads are quicker, but we are of the opinion, the quicker they download, the quicker all will normalize again.

Hi there MrBeep

Sitting with the same issue as last night, traceroutes look fine (it does hang a bit on the 5th one for some reason). In game is totally unplayable, just as bad as when I had exchange congestion issue a few weeks back (now fixed).

Just to show you I am not going crazy! I am going to switch to Satan's network again for my sanity this evening. This is the second evening in a row that I have had this issue. On a 1MB Gamers King account. Also please note that my Wireless is turned off and that no P2P clients are running in the background (paused or otherwise). Obviously, no other traffic other than in game is happening right now.

Just an update - MWEB Uncapped currently running perfectly. I would prefer this the other way around as they are not my favourite company right now!

I just saw your post about MS Updates - surely 24/7 prioritised gaming would bypass that?
