I can confirm a distinct lack of sucking of the sweaty ball variety on Gamer King accounts. I use two 10mb Gamer King accounts, one at work and one at home, and both accounts have been performing perfectly today. Fast browsing & YouTube, even torrents and general shaped downloads weren't too bad today. Netflix streamed at 480p, I'm currently getting 207ms in WoW.

If your Gamer King account isn't behaving then tell support straight away & they'll sort it out! :)
 
Any issues in the Western Cape? I can't even stream 360p youtube this evening. 2Mb Gamer King account.
 
At least you can connect. Had no connectivity since Tuesday yet Telkom guest account works. Contacted Openweb twice on Wednesday, emailed support at 7 tonight.
 
On the 2MB Gamer king account running with no issues, but i suspect it won't be long until i also start having issues
 
Our friends over at Telkom have so many network notices up currently my PC can't keep up.

I am sure you are being effected by one of these.

If the problem continues, please mail us so that we can take a closer look.

Seems to have stabilised now :)

Was given new account details and issue is resolved, I just hope this doesn't become a common occurrence.

Same, my issue was resolved with new details too this evening after 10pm BUT while every ISP has its issues, at least the support guys and reps go out of their way to assist when things do go wrong.
 
Anyone else experiencing slower than usual unshaped speeds? Getting 200KB/s on NNTP (4mb gold), or is DrJohnZoidberg downloading the internet again with his VDSL :whistle:

Only downloading a little internet tonight. Speeds excellent as usual.

Same here - webpages doesn't even load. I have been experiencing this since yesterday around 20:00.

Also on 4 MB Gold.
 
Speeds certainly go up and down. I upgraded from 1mb to 2mb in the hope of getting more than 0.6mb/sec. Was fine on Sunday 1st Sep - up to 1.4mb/sec. But since Monday morning until yesterday am back to 0.6 - 0.7. This afternoon it hit 1.6mb at one point

Is this due to congestion or useage during the week? Sometimes in the morning it is 1.1 - 1.3 but slows down after 8.00
