Hi MrBeep...I'd like to cancell my account please....

I was given a test account and this ran smoothly...
When i got the real account it went ok for the first day.
1.I could no longer connect to the IS new server(since it's prob a MTN account)
2.You guys gave me a new account that I could access the news server. But now my international browsing does not work???
3.SO, i have to swap to MTN during the day.....then swap to IS to download something at night.

thanks a mill.
cheers guys.

I also had the slow international and local bug on my account for 2 weeks at least but thankfully MrBeep eventually sorted it out. Best ISP service I've had :)

Hi Mr. Beep.

Just dropped an email to your [email protected]

EDIT : Please assist. Leon doesn't understand what I'm trying to get across.
How come freaking HTTP is being shaped to 10% of my line speed, for local sites, so slow, that you can see how each individual image actually downloads. This is not normal at all. Even during the whole iOS 7 update week, it wasn't like this.

My internet has been horrible in the daytime the last couple days on my Silver 4Mbps Uncapped.
Newsbins maxing out at 8KBps.
Trying to download the latest nvidia driver. 15KBps.
Downloaded an email attachment from my emails that are in SA. 18KBps.

Just want to check if there isn't something you maybe know of that is maybe causing this.
It's very strange though. Youtube is goes at full speed, so it has to be some kinda shaping.

Kindly PM me so that I can take a look.

I can however say that the network is very busy today, thus shaping will be enforced quite strongly.

We expect things to clear between 18:00 and 19:00 tonight.

Leon did a port reset and says on his side, when using my account he's getting full speed.
Reset my router now as he requested. Still crap.... Let's see how it goes tomorrow.

Local email slow, takes ages to download a simple text email. International slow, Google services and Facebook almost non existent. Twitch stuttering on low.

2Mbit Gold something.

I've now posted a thread on Supersport's forum about the streaming problems - http://forum.dstv.com/showthread.php?t=20481

No reply yet. But I am convinced that it's a Supersport issue. One of the commentators in the thread suggested that this is perhaps a peering issue with Mweb? Any chance of this being an issue?

It's the same as what I reported. Apparently the network is very busy. Weird though that I can stream 720p on YouTube and can watch Netflix as well without any issues at all. Yet downloading an email attachment, local server, at 15KBps. lol.

Let's just hope it'll be better soon.

Replied to your post on SS. Just also forgot to add, even at the university where I work, where we have 1Gbps+ Internet connection, we can't even get a stable stream. 1080p streams like a breeze and hardly ever battles to download stuff at couple MBps. The issue has to be at SS. As we ever had any other doubt though. Multichoice just sucks in general.

Thanks for the input. Hopefully get a few more replies of similar accounts...

Windows 8.1 released today - I guess we are in for a sloooooooow evening and/or weekend !

I don't think the 8 people that have Windows 8 installed will be a problem. :p

TBH never liked win8 myself, untill I got my Samsung Gaming lappie with Win8, dont know why, but it is 100% better than my downloaded cracked version.

MrBeep I want to find out if you can give me better internet than afrihost currently?
