YH, but I'm not sure if its worth hijacking this thread to discuss this!

I'd rather hear some feedback from MrBeep. Additionally, my ticket seems to have disappeared so I had to open another one :(
 
MrBeep I need your assistance .... moved over to OW and after having connection issues for days, I was given an additional routing account to use (1mb) but now my 2mb account does not work so I am now paying for something I do not have ..... If I can get some help since the support line does not seem able to help ?
 


This is pathetic for the service im paying for when are we going to get less shaping and an actual service we are paying for?
Im on 1mb gamers king package. I can barely load google/gmail/youtube or anything. This is unacceptable and i might consider cancelling if this continues in the next two months.

I get that on a 4mb gold account, this level of service is not acceptable and openweb have gone quiet regarding these issues. Fix it or else, you know what the "or else" means im sure
 
Yeah, same issue here ... 2mb gamers king account .... in fact , my entire account has been disabled ... yet they take my money .... luckily I had not yet cancelled my MWEB account .... sad that one have to look to MWEB to save one's ass ...
 
The last 2 days have been zero shaping during office hours, but 100% throttling. I cant get more than ~15k/s on anything, Gmail doesnt even load

And I get the same on a 10Mbps gamers account. I have had to resort to switching from MTN to IS daily in order to have a similar experience to the product originally sold to me. Even that is failing now with speeds being under 700KB/s yesterday and under 300KB/s before 08:00 this morning.
 
Well like i said im on a 3g dongle at the moment because my 4mb openweb cant even load gmail
 
It is pretty abysmal atm, getting about 20KB/s on http using 2Mb Gamers King account... Had to download the BF4 update on my capped Web Africa account.
 
Seems like minimal shaping being applied today. Getting very good speeds on all protocols today on Gold...:)

it appears that people with good speed are laying low. must be afraid their bandwidth will be allocated to the gold nuggets with minimal speed.
 
Nah, their Client Support has gone to ground .... Dane is not answering my emails ..... so much for Client Support. I cannot even authenticate into mine since Sunday let alone getting unstable speeds .... guess cancelling is the only way to go :(
