1Mbs on Speedtest.net, Skype with 17 people is fine. Downloads from US servers are bad (2kB/s)

I Finally got my Gold uncapped account up and running
And it feels much much faster than Mweb, i can finally watch 720/1080p videos on youtube without waiting for them to buffer 1-2 mins ahead. Browsing is much snappier too!

verdict is still out on international latency but so far so good!

I have had fantastic service from MrBEEP! I have been testing the 6Mbps Gold Uncapped and it is great, especially coming from Mweb 4Mbps Uncapped. I agree that browsing feels way faster (not just since Seacom break) and Youtube is in a different league now. I also tested Afrihost 6Mbps Business Uncapped and although it performed good sometimes, Openweb performs 24/7. I hope Openweb continues this level of service, they will have at least one extra happy client.
