Currently streaming 480p with no buffering with 1mb/s gold uncapped. (Actually, pretty much always streaming 480p, no problem.)
Awesomeness.

If you are experiencing a problem kindly email [email protected] so that we can investigate.

There are no network issues currently, and the network is running well below capacity

Seems like it, i get random speed bursts. One second its fine the next i cant even reload mybroadband pages?

Local:
Test conducted on 3/31/2013 7:34:18 PM

Download Speed: 3492 kbps (436.5 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 429 kbps (53.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 33 ms

Then right after i try international and it hangs/times out

I was getting really erractic speeds about a week ago, and it turns out there was something wrong at the exchange. I noticed on my router that although the line was syncing at 2048 (down) it was only syncing at 96 (up) - that's way lower than it should. So I reset router a few times and every time it synced at a different rate (for upstream). I also noticed that when the upstream synced at 128 or higher, my downloads were better than when it synced below 100.

So I reported a fault on the phone line and when the Telkom dude came to test he found a fault at the exchange on the line itself. After he fixed that, my phone line itself was less noisy and the adsl line (Upstream) syncs at 512 consistently now. Download speeds back to max! So it seems as if your upstream isn't working, it will affect your downstream as well. I wouldn't even have picked up on this as i usually just glance at downstream rate, but at only 96 it kinda stood out and poked me!

The free DNS service that comes with every openweb account seems to resolve to a complete different IP address, is there something you can checkup on your side MR.BEEP ?

I am get random speed bursts. Internet is slow the normal, then slow again... continually. I can load a page then if I refresh it refuses to load.

This facility unfortunately does not work on all account types :(
