Would like to know too. Local is full speedgetting between 250Kb and 350Kb international. Normally 1023Kb/s -1037Kb/s.

Some things run smooth, others don't, which is why I'm so unsure. Steam downloads suck, but Origin runs okay. Chivalry on international servers are fine, but GW2 isn't.

Hi Zewp

Can you please gather as much info as you can, and email it on to me: [email protected]

I would like to forward it to our upstream provider for investigation.

I'm also having odd issues now, very high local pings (300 ms)and dodgy international speeds - when i use an account with another ISP all seems OK?

Mr Beep?

My account has been pretty fast, 2mb gold uncapped. But for some reason p2p never gets above 30k/s. Just me ?

Had the same yesterday. The weekend was beautiful though! Also last night at around 12 PM it came alive again.

p2p was terrible last night (this is the first time since i got the account that this has happened)
could not get more than a few kb's on my torrents :(

it seemed a bit better this morning when i left, hopefully its all back to normal now. i'm on the vanilla 2mb uncapped.

Same here. Signed up with Afrihost business now to compare as I really cant be stuck on 7.8 kb/s all day long until 12 PM at night. Not really ideal. BUT, like I said, the weekend and after hours the account is an absolute pleasure!

No i mean, my p2p is ALWAYS not more than 30k/s

Normal? i doubt it, mrbeep!

Maybe someone can enlighten me but if Openweb is an IS reseller, then why is it that the other resellers dont have Vanilla or Standard or Gold packages Like Openweb.

The standard seems that the other resellers (WebAfrica, Buzybuy) only offer 1 uncapped product with no variation.

I only ask because I see guys on the Gold packages complaining about being shaped badly during business hours, I would think that they would be shaped less having paid a premium price for their Gold product. Surely Gold packages should be shaped less than Standard for instance.

After ~7 days of great connection quality/speed - i just RDPed to my PC and see my downloads are going at 30kbps on my 2mbps Gold.

I do a Speedtest, and its very erratic (after a remote reboot of the router) - i.e. lots of spikes. Final reading was 1.1mbps. Downloads remain at 30kbps.

First and foremost - I am a heavy user. So, I expect to be shaped on a normal account - but Gold has always been nice to me until recently...

Now what's prompting me to reassess is that for less than Gold 2mb, I can get AH 4mb (if I move my line).

Do I log a ticket with support, or do I just cancel and try the grass on the other side?
