Line is acting a bit funny today, one moment its 100-150KBps the next 450KBps.

So I contacted support.

Did you attached a full HD picture weighing in at a few megs or is my line still sucky?

Erm, I do find it strange to advertise an offer with 'only x number of accounts left' and then offer the same accounts again, yes. But I don't really mind nor care, just an observation.

And I thought the support portal on your support page would work... I'll use email from now on if you're saying it doesn't.

Ermm, the promotion expired end April.

It is now returned for another limited amount of accounts. I'm afraid I do not see the problem of offering this account type again? Should we only offer a promotion once and never again?

Why did you not email [email protected] when you problem initially occurred? I invite you to kindly do so now.

I have just tested the support portal on the site and the lovely Leoni replied to my request. Seems to work fine.

'x number of accounts left' is for that month. Naturally, a new batch of accounts are released, which resets this number on a future date. In this case, the promotion was hosted almost a month after the time you initially saw it.

I'm not happy because I'm downloading a 720p video from youtube.com at 100kb/s on a 2mbit line (Gold uncapped)) :/ What's going on here? Am I being throttled down to around 50% of my linespeed?

If it continues like this even at the end of this week, I will go back to MWEB

My line almost dead, can't even email support as my gmail won't open. Google search not even opening. Battling to ftp website out to local cpt server.

I’m with openweb for about 8 months now and i must say they never phone you back when you log a fault. The lady just takes your details and then you wait. It happened 4 times in a row with me. And today when she said they will phone me i laughed and said “that is what you said last time as well”
They do respond on email support though.

Prompt email is fine, but if they say they'll return your call they should.

I've given up calling unless I'm desperate.

Hi Mr Beep.
I could not believe it but they phoned me back.
I will let you know if i have this problem again in the future.
thanx

Moved to Openweb at the beginning of the month. Speeds have been awesome but suddenly today nntp traffic is 60kb/s which is really terrible - youtube streaming also really bad...
