Well, NNTP was fine yesterday, but today...well it seems the Windows upadates killing all downloads again on the IS network.
 
thanks for the help iJasper. For some reason I can now suddenly get into the game again. I'm guessing this may have something to do with daytime shaping ending. If it is that, then it makes me wonder about the gamer's king package I'm on. Would this mean that gaming only gets priority after hours?

Yep, same experience here - it's just the last 2 days that something happened.

I don't think it's our own accounts I think something bigger is going on and hence why i'm just waiting it out
 
news server really slow tonight 100k peaks on a 10 meg after hours uncapped/unshaped
 
I'm using the local Is news server and it's peaks between 20k and 100k at the moment.

This happened after doing a network stress test :D
(My line and account work perfectly, these are circumstances that would never happen in real world usage.)

Download Speed: 4621 kbps (577.6 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 791 kbps (98.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 34 ms

International:
Download Speed: 4050 kbps (506.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 442 kbps (55.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 210 ms

4Mbps Gamers King account.

After 1 night, I can't imagine using anything slower. Pulled almost 70GB last night :D :D :D

With what, News Servers? mine is completely dead.
NNTP has never been this slow for me :( Day 3
 
Mine was really bad last night as well. It was up and down.
When i turned in it had improved to 400k but was not really stable .

Upload Speed: 826 kbps (103.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 61 ms


International:

Download Speed: 4919 kbps (614.9 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 822 kbps (102.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Latency: 173 ms


International being shaped a bit. Not too bad though.
 
Anyone else experiencing very slow daytime speeds? Sites like youtube and google wont even complete the page render. After 5pm everything goes back to normal. This is on a Gamers King 2Mb account.
