Does openweb have a way that customers can view of hear the status of the network backbone / network status?
If so please correct me.
Internet Solution has this recording which plays when you phone their global service centre. Today is says something about mtls vpn outage and something about packet loss.

Are there any general problems with the network tonight? RDPing to work is incredibly lagged.

There are no general issues currently.

The network is completely unshaped for all clients as we speak

Not on my side. I'm getting about 2 - 3Mbps on international http downloads (with 4 threads). This normally picks up around 11pm and from 12 it's normally full speed. Everything else seems fine like video streaming, browsing, etc

No issues at all locally! :D

But speedtest reflects what my real world international speeds are like at the moment.

EDIT:

US measurement for good measure:

Definitely looks like I'm being penalised for my usage this month.

6:36am - Just did a test and twitch.tv is streaming 1080p no problems on my 10mb Gamer King account. Never had any problems with twitch my side

I see that Gold Uncapped is going on promotion soon (according to OW FB).

Anyone with the package already in the cape town area, please do ping test for me to this IP: 94.242.253.107

Don't believe everything you read on the internet. If this is true, why is Youtube working without a hitch?

I still feel that Twitch is to blame. They simply do not have enough bandwidth to sustain demand.

Twitch has been placed on priority on the network, yet the problem still exists. It is on the same priority as Youtube. Twitch has issues, but Youtube works flawlessly.

Using a VPN will change the route it takes to the Twitch servers, and is a hit and miss solution. We have even tried using it on several different VPN's with the same problem.

So... it's literally impossible to fix twitch.tv lag :(

Not that I'm taking the image as true, but we have a CDN in SA for Youtube. So most YouTube content is local.
