DC is more than likely Telkom or a router fault. Please drop support a mail so that they can have a look
Sounds similar to what happens to me. Internet light remains green but theres no connectivity. Do you have to restart your router when that happens?
P.S my NNTP and browsing is flying now, thanks MrBEEP. I hope it doesnt disconnect again though.

I'm on a 1mb standard uncapped. It's shaped during the day. Don't expect anything. If you on gold or similar you should expect downloading during office hours.
My other services are ohk during the day though.

I am on Original Gold 2MB, today during the day average download speed 50~60KB/s.

i would say that is low for original gold. not sure of exact figures. should be near fullspeed. pm mrbeep.

This only happened after the mweb thing, otherwise I am getting speed at +-200KB/s day and night. So I want to check hows tomorrow's performance before speaking to support.

Probably coincidence. Seems there has been a few hotspots today.

most slow lines are due to telkoms congested exchanges. and more gets congested daily. its a serious problem. yet telkom dont care... they blame it on the isp's.

Wish that was the case for me.
I switched over to my Afrihost account this afternoon and could suddenly max out my line. So not exchange for me.
I kind of wish it was. At least a problem could be identified.

I agree Robori. They do assist quickly. I normally wait about a few days if I do have a problem, 90% of the time the problem I have will get sorted by itself.
