Dammit! My free 1 Week 6Mb trial account just ran out of steam...

It's incredible how quick you get spoiled with what seems to be a measly 2Mb upgrade, yet, it makes all the difference.
This past week has been an absolute pleasure on the OpenWeb account. Youtube streaming at 1080P, no issues. The occasional Linux, Visual Studio, Music etc. torrent running like there's now tomorrow. XBMC Streaming like a champ, I could even skip and forward without the sky falling down and my VPN connections to our servers at work makes their bonded 8Mb connection look like a ripoff.

So damn pissed off that I have to wait more than a month now before I can sign up (can't justify spending 700 bucks just 'cause I'm impatient, it's almost the price of a new router).
Screw you MWeb and you calendar Month bullcrap!

Anyway, me and this OpenWeb thing, I think we're going to be good friends

P2P is dead on my side now. My line has been acting like **** for the past 2 weeks now. I'm starting to lose my patience now

My torrent download speed (The ratio of seeds to peers is 3.0!!!!) is around 10kB/s to 20kB/s on a 2mb line right now.

I tried restarting my crappy router but it didn't help at all

My liver tells me that somebody is playing maliciously with my line.

Hmm ... wonder if a port reset would help.
F.Y.I. In case you didn't know (I just realized it this past week) if you hand over your ADSL Rental to WebAfrica you can do line speed upgrades and port resets right there, on the site.... it's awesome.

yes all week.. averaging half normal speeds, sometime more, sometimes less.. have already checked router/telkom etc

The next time this happens, please do an immediate tracert to www.openweb.co.za so that we can catch the cause of the problem. Doing one after the event will not assist with troubleshooting.

Starts at 200 then just tapers off. Should just have stayed on standard.
